Atkins Labcast

Atkins Labcast

In October 2020 I had a lovely chat with Paul Atkins of Atkins Lab – the oldest photo lab in Australia. We talk for an hour about art and photography – it was great fun. I thought it would be a nice idea to make a slide show with the audio to show all the photos and artworks we discussed.

What’s Next for Team Dave?

2023 has been mainly directed to working towards a solo show in August. This show formed part of the SALA (South Australian Living Artists) Festival and was held in Adelaide. It brought with it many wonderful things and made me very tired. I aim to spend the rest of the year recharging after three very challenging years. (Challenging, that is, by my standards. Not so much for people who are used to jobs and responsibilities.)

2021-22 saw the completion of a Masters Degree in Contemporary Art at UniSA. This was a return to full time study for the first time since 1984.

I have a nice idea for some new work. We'll see what happens I guess.
