Cycling in the Vercors

Cycling in the Vercors

Or – how to succeed in the French Alps without really trying. So, my understanding is that the Vercors is part of the French Alps, but not the nasty pointy part, more the gentle but still spectacular part. We were

A Visit to the Museum

The Gallery of Palaeontology at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris encapsulates all that I love about nineteenth century French architecture. First of all there’s the scale. There’s something special about French public buildings from this time. To

What’s Next for Team Dave?

2023 has been mainly directed to working towards a solo show in August. This show formed part of the SALA (South Australian Living Artists) Festival and was held in Adelaide. It brought with it many wonderful things and made me very tired. I aim to spend the rest of the year recharging after three very challenging years. (Challenging, that is, by my standards. Not so much for people who are used to jobs and responsibilities.)

2021-22 saw the completion of a Masters Degree in Contemporary Art at UniSA. This was a return to full time study for the first time since 1984.

I have a nice idea for some new work. We'll see what happens I guess.
